The product is UL certified PV Rapid Shutdown System with major inverters to meet NEC 2014, 2017 and 2020 quick shutdown requirements, provided the system is accompanied by Tigo Access Point (TAP) and Cloud Connect Advanced ( CCA). DC production data can be analyzed through Tigo’s website or SMART app when connected to the cloud.

Globally, Tigo shares that the TS4 can safely operate in temperatures from -40 ° F to + 185 ° F, with a voltage range of 16 to 90V.

The company shares that the product provides a solution for solar installers who have minimal need for optimization due to lack of shade or other module mismatches, but want to maximize site uptime, minimize costs of operation and maintenance.

“Nothing hurts the profitability of solar installers more than unnecessary truck trips,” said Cathal McCarthy, customer manager at Tigo Energy. “The TS4-AS with Energy Intelligence monitoring is a cost-effective way to ensure the safety of first responders with rapid shutdown and reduce operation and maintenance costs with a state-of-the-art monitoring platform. “
